What Is IP-714?
IP-714 is a two-component, low-VOC, solvent-based, chrome-free, air-drying epoxy anti-corrosive primer. Indestructible Paint manufactures the coating and developed it in conjunction with Pratt & Whitney.
The product is available in two primary versions:
- IP-714-A is a mid-grey coating that carries approvals to CPW 714 and PWA 36568.
- IP-714-2-A is a darker grey version that carries approval to CPW 714 and is specifically approved by Pratt & Whitney Canada.

IP-714 carries approvals to CPW 714 and PWA 36568. Pratt & Whitney also approves the coating for overhaul and repair applications under SPM references SPOP 148 and SPOP 155.
